Daily Math


My goal is to incorporate math daily! I hope to do this by having the following things in the classroom:

  • Daily Number / Warm- Up ​

  • Math Review ( A lesson from the day before or as the year goes on concepts that students are forgetting)

  • Activity/song/ acronyms that relate to our topic or skill that needs refreshing to help us master the content

  • Mental Math

  • Quick Images Activities

  • Counting in their head, we will make it challenging as we get fluent in counting mentally

  • Math Facts

  • Mental math challenges

  • Whiteboards/ markers

  • Family Feud Style game

  • Beach Ball Toss

  • Kahoot!

  • In partners, whoever collects the most facts, WINS!

  • Quiz-Quiz-Trade Cards

  • Daily Math Problem ( I will have a place where students can also write their own problem and I will be using them in our daily problems each week)
